The Daytona 500 is only 54 days away and it is not the first race to happen. The first race is the Budweiser Shootout and since there is a new rule to make it in, four drivers that would be in it are now out. This new rule is the top six cars from each manufacturer earns a berth for the Budweiser Shootout. The old rule is if you have won it or you got a pole in the previous year, you get a berth. Since this rule has changed, the four drivers that would be in it and know out are Ryan Newman, Patrick Carpentier, Paul Menard, and Joe Nemechek.
