Here is the order of the top 5 starting spots for the 2010 Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway:
1. Jamie McMurray
2. Jeff Gordon
3. Brian Vickers
4. David Reutimann
5. Mark Martin
Well, Jamie McMurray broke a track lap time record at Darlington so it looks like he has a good chance at winning. The top 5 is a very surprising order from the looks of it. Remember that at Darlington, it is very important to have a good starting spot. The better the spot, the better the chances that you have to win. Since Jimmie Johnson is starting back in 22nd spot, he doesn't have a great chance at winning. Remember though, anything is possible!

Refresher 2010
As you all know, I have taken a long break from blogging. Now I'm back. So here's a refresher on what has happened in NASCAR. Jimmie Johnson won the championship last year. He got his fourth championship in a row and broke the record for most championships won in a row. Jamie McMurray has went to DEI/Ganassi racing. Martin Truex Jr. has went to Micheal Waltrip racing. Jimmie Johnson still leads the points for this year. Here is a quick refreshment of what has happened lately in NASCAR.
