Stewert HAAS Team
Tony Stewart announced in August that he will part ways with Joe Gibbs and start his own team Stewart HASS with Ryan Newman starting next year. Tony Stewart has one task to do before focusing on racing, he has to get himself and Ryan Newman in the top 35 during the first five races so they can be able to race in Martinsville and not have to quilify on time like on the first five races. If you're wondering why they have to quilify on time it's because they are taking owner points from #66 scott Riggs and #70 which has been drove by a couple different drivers. Since they took owner points from those cars they will have to quilify on time for at least the first five races. I don't think it was the best idea ever so if I had to guess they're going to have some difficulty with getting into the top 35 in owner points up until the first Richmond race, however the real question is when and where will Stewart HAAS racing do good and be good.
